Grind and Seal is when the concrete surface is ground to the expected aggregate exposure level (little to no aggregate, salt & pepper or full aggregate exposure). After the grinding process the floor is usually sealed with a topical coating. This coating can be either Epoxies, Acrylics or Polyaspartics and can be clear, tinted or solid colour. These coatings can be vulnerable to scratching and damage as they are essentially a ‘shell’ on the top of the floor.
